IMPACT Volleyball and their Founder, Ray Candiloro, have been working with the great charity, “Healing The Children” for over 30 years. This group of doctors and nurses travels the world at their own expense to perform life-changing surgeries on children in third world countries. All monies collected go towards surgical supplies and the patients. It is estimated the typical surgery costs only $100 for each child.
At the annual HTC Charity Tourney, every cent goes directly to the charity. The Rec Center generously donates the space. Their club buys the trophies. The referees volunteer. This year, the HTC Charity tournament took place on Saturday, September 25th, at Rahway Recreation Center.
Coaches must register their team by filling out the online HIC Charity Tournament registration form.
